Linking Employees with Locations
This article is for shift supervisors, managers and business administrators.
This feature is available on desktop and tablet.
There are several ways to link an employee with a location, in all cases the result is the same. Linking an employee to a location allows the administrator to schedule the employee in that location. The employee can view location information such as address, phone number, team members and a list of shift supervisors.
Assigning employees to locations
From the main navigation menu, select Locations.
For your chosen location, click the "Switch to location" icon.
(i) You are now on the GENERAL DATA page for the selected location. On the right you can see the panel called "The location team", clicking on the drop-down arrow you can assign employees to this location.

Once saved, the assigned employee(s) can now see the location(s) they are linked with and access the location details.
Assigning locations to employees
- From the main navigation menu, select Team.
- For a chosen team member, click the "Switch to employee" icon.
(i) You are now on the PERSONAL DATA AND ACCESS page for the selected employee. - On the right you can see the panel called 'Active employee', clicking on the drop-down arrow you can assign new locations to the employee.
- Once saved, the assigned employee(s) can now see the location(s) they are linked with and access the location details.
When an employee is not already linked to any locations a note will appear at the head of the schedule calendar (when in employee mode). You can use this option to assign a location to the employee on-the-fly.
