Work Areas
This article is for shift supervisors, managers and business administrators.
This feature is available on desktop and tablet.
You can set up different work areas for your locations and view or edit shifts only for selected work areas.
Define work areas
In the main navigation menu go to Locations.
In the location overview click on "Switch to location" for a selected location.
Under the section "Work areas", use the button to add a work area.
You can set up numerous work areas, add descriptions if required, or edit existing work areas.
When you're done, don't forget to save your settings with the green button at the top of the screen.
Filter work areas
You want to look at a shift schedule for certain work areas only?
In the main navigation menu go to Schedule.
At the top of your screen, where you can toggle between location view and team view, click on the icon for location.
If the selected location has a work area, a filter icon appears in the drop-down menu when the location is chosen. Use this icon to apply a filter to the schedule calendar for one or multiple work areas.
If a filter has been applied to your schedule view, the filter icon at the top of the screen changes its colour to blue.
To remove the filter, click on the filter icon, tick "Show all work areas", and apply again.
