Managing Time Tracking Terminals (Kiosks)

To setup a time tracking terminal you will need a mobile device, like a tablet or a mobile phone, of your choice. We support iPads, iPhones and most of the Android devices.

First you will need to add a terminal at the "Time tracking > Terminals". 
The device reference is generated automatically and will always start with at least 3 digits. The rest of the device reference will be generated by our system after the initial setup. You will need this reference to be able to log in to this terminal with the device you have chosen.
Every terminal is affiliated with one business location. Every business location can have multiple terminals, for example at the main entrance and at the back entrance. You can note these kind of details at the optional terminal description.
The default device language is the interface language displayed when no employee has been selected. The terminal will switch to user language as soon as employee has chosen his or her name.
Per default only employees assigned to the business location will be able to use a device. This option can be changed so that every employee from your organization is able to check it with the device. Please note that for this option to work, a setting allowing punching in without a scheduled shift should also be turned on. If one of those options is turned off, only employees assigned to the particular location will be able to use the terminal.
A terminal can be deactivated or activated at any time. A deactivated terminal cannot be used to punch in or out unless re-activated.

You will also need to choose a terminal password to be able to set up a terminal with a device. This password is not your personal PIN but is used exclusively to administer the terminal. Please only share this password with shift supervisors responsible for that particular business location.

After adding a terminal, the system will generate the full device reference. This reference as well as the password are required to log in into the terminal. To do that, open a browser and go to https://kiosk.teamultim.com

You can change these settings directly at the terminal itself. After logging in, tap the "settings" icon at the top left corner which will switch the interface into settings mode. You will need the terminal password to proceed.

To change back to the time tracking mode, tap the "back" icon at the top left corner.

To log out from the terminal, you should change into the settings mode, enter the terminal password and tap the logout button on the right.

Deleting a terminal will NOT delete the times tracked with the terminal. You can only delete a terminal from the web app itself.
