Removing a Location

This article is for shift supervisors, managers and business administrators.
This feature is available on desktop and tablet.

It's important to distinguish between:

1. Deactivating a location
2. Deleting a location from the system

1.  Deactivating a location

By deactivating a location, the location disappears from the Schedule calendar; for employees who are not shift managers or business administrators, it disappears from the Locations section.
To deactivate a location, choose Locations from the main navigation menu, click "Switch to location" for the required location. Deselect the active location box. Save your changes.

2. Deleting a location

When you delete a location, all the related data is erased from the system. Deletion cannot be undone.
To delete a location from the system, choose Locations from the main navigation menu, click "Switch to location" for the required location. At the bottom of the page you will find the "Delete location" button. To prevent accidental deletion, several confirmation prompts are required. After reviewing location data, type "Remove" and click click on the red button.
