Employee Absence Management
This article is for shift supervisors, managers and business administrators.
Employees can be absent for different reasons: sick leave, training, vacation or a private appointment. Absences can be marked in the schedule calendar and will be displayed in different sections of the app.
The upcoming absences for the next two weeks are displayed on the Dashboard.
Absences can have different statuses: approved, requested to be approved, and declined. The status is clearly indicated in the colour code orange, green, and red. Who requested, approved or declined the absence is also displayed.
Confirmed absences are marked in the schedule calendar as a striped grey border.
You can view and edit (by approving or declining) absences on each employee's page in the Absence Settings section. Go there via: Team > Switch to employee.
Absences can be requested by the employees themselves or by any shift supervisor or administrator who is managing a location where this employee is active.
