Time Formatting: Regular and Industry Minutes

This article is for shift supervisors, managers and business administrators.
 This feature is available on desktop and tablet.

 All time time periods recorded, calculated or displayed by the app (e.g. the total work hours for a shift or period of shifts), can be displayed in one of two different formats:

  • regular minutes (i.e. 60 minutes in an hour; a duration of 8 1/2 hours will be shown as 8:30)
  • industry minutes (i.e. 100 units in an hour; a duration of 8 1/2 hours will be shown as 8.5)

Time format can be set by choosing Business Settings from the main navigation menu, then in the Settings section you will find the "Time duration format" section. Here you can choose between Regular minutes and Industry minutes.
Save your settings.
